HEI ignition had a MSD coil it needs this or other module to run
Called MSD when boat wouldn't run MSD coil needs high amperage module to match coil so it ran very poorly without this module. This new module gets hot so used lots of thermal compound included and hope billet aluminum housing keeps it cool enough. Boats don't have fans or airflow like a car so I'll be checking how hot the distributor gets. The actual engine runs super cool with constant 60f water.
