I bought this fan for my desk at work and right out of the box it was making rattling noises from inside as if something was loose or came apart inside the actual fan. Once the fan was plugged in and turned on it made high pitch noises and sounded like the blades make contact with the sides, the oscillating mode worked on and off randomly and the fan will sometimes just shut off for no reason. All while being plugged in via power cord. Take that for what it’s worth - honest review
