Ring/silent button not working properly. Slippery on bottom compared to Otterbox Defender

There’s trouble with the ring/silent button. It doesn’t work properly and you need to take the case off in order to fix it so the phone rings. The case is plastic on the bottom making it easy to slide off surfaces.
