Have owned many of these
I always seek out this model because I know they are great.
My work requires many photos a day and in places where access and water makes things difficult.
I have been using this SD1300 Canon for years and the reason I have had many is because they get banged around a lot and eventually end up under water.
They dry out and still work but after a few times 'tea bagging' the end will come.
Great quality pictures and durable camera.

NIS is the best
