Love the UBASS, be sure to check that all parts are working.
I purchased the UBASS as a beginner. I love it. I played it for 2 months before getting an amp and trying it out. The pickup doesn’t work right. I tried to find replacement part or return options. It is proving a monumental task.
So moral of the story, check out EVERYTHING before your 30 day guarantee is up. I purchased the Warranty… and they don’t respond. My fault for not figuring out sooner that it had issues. Overall though, I love this little bass, and I will get it fixed somewhere and continue to play

The Blue Sword...well worth the read!
This book defined the strength of women as protagonists. Harry is her own hero, and while she had help, it never paints her as a damsel in distress waiting on a prince to save her...and it was written in the 80s! Kudos to McKinley for dreaming up this book. It enchanted me from the beginning, and remains one of my favorite reads.
