Cheap construction-GREAT optics.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich It is plastic construction and the retainers that hold the lens to the camera body often get broken.
That is about the only minus for this lens. For all its cheapness of lens body construction, this is one of the sharpest lenses made by Nikon in its era. It is a perfect adjunct for my Nikon Df because of its light weight. The Df is a pretty heavy camera and the light weight of this lens makes it a little easier to tote around for any period of time. I have trained myself to not handle the camera by the lens, which is a pretty common practice among some. I always pick it up by the camera body and not the lens. Considering how inexpensive this lens is these days I would call it an excellent buy.

Nikon N70 35mm Camera
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich A little lighter than N90 or F4 or higher 'professional' camera, yet has many easy to use features. Learning your way through the camera's capabilities is pretty easy if you read the manual. It has Nikon's dynamic matrix metering and full manual overide for those who want to depart from the usual point and shoot. I love the pop-up flash, but am disappointed that you cannot use TTL mode unless you attach a separate flash unit. A small issue, though, for such a great camera. I was looking for a camera for my wife that was easy to use and when it came in the mail I fell in love with it. She wouldn't let my use hers, so I bought one for myself. I have an N90 and 8008, but will probably use the N70 more frequently than either of the other two.

Comfortable with good features
Nice wide and soft strap around the neck. Bears the weight of a camera with battery grip and sizable lens with great comfort. Really like the storage pouches at each end of the strap. Plenty of room for extra battery or memory cards. The only thing I don't like is the size of the quick release clips. They are larger than quick release clips on other brands. I like to switch to over-the-shoulder strap if I am going to carry a camera all day and have been able to mix brands because most have compatible quick release clips, thus I can interchange the use of over the neck and over the shoulder straps without having to remove anything from the camera..
