Not cheap but you get for you pay for with this one.

I had one of these once and it was the best lens ever - super sharp, fast focussing and terrific for portraits, nature, and long landscapes like sunsets. Sadly I sold it and all my fixed lenses in favour of a single all-in-one zoom and soon realised what a mistake I had made! Happily I bought another and currently own just three Nikkor lenses. The Nikon Nikkor Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 AI-S 85 mm F/1.4 D AF Lens, a wide DX zoom - 12 - 24mm DX - , and a long DX zoom - 18 - 200mm VR - which barely gets used now that I have this. There is a newer one being made which apparently is better, but I have not tried one. I am happy with the one I have.

K&K Sound Pure Mini Acoustic Guitar Pickup for Steel String Guitars

I use K&K Minis on most of my stringed instruments for live performance - they work great with Redeye preamps.

Very Good for low percussive audio.

Very good mic for mounting in my cajon - great microphone if you can find one, strangely now out of production.
