Sound good but they get rusty after 2 weeks

Bought the strings after trying them on a friend's bass, the sound is amazing at first but unfortunately they got totally rusty in a couple of weeks, no intensive playing (couple of sweaty gigs on this bass, and strings always cleaned after every gig, bass wasn't left in damp rooms etc). If you like to change strings every 2 weeks get them, they sound amazing. Definitely not worth the price for the short life they have though..
