Review of Evilr of the Daleks

A brilliant story - better than any of the recent new episodes. I was pleased that there was a colour version and black and white version of the adventure. This was always one of my favourite stories from the classic series, and the animated reproduction is excellent. The extra material is a nice addition too, with the inclusion of the audio release with a narration by Tom Baker This is an absolute must for any Doctor Who fan.

Unlike most novelty ice cube trays, this makes complete 3D skulls rather than a flat based shape, so comes in two halves. There is, as one would expect, a slight line on the ice cube skulls where the two halves meet, but this is easy to remove and barely noticeable, giving a very satisfactory result. The tray is made of a flexible material, so it's easy to remove the ice skulls from the molds. Though these make unique ice cubes, do not feel constrained by their intended use - think outside the box (or tray in this case). you could also use them to make skull chocolates. I've not tried making skull jellies with them yet - I'm not sure they would survive removal from the mold, but it might be worth a try. If you don't want to use the tray for food related items these could also be used to cast resin skulls. An absolute must for Halloween parties.
