A BIT OF SUGARY NONSENSE
In spite of some serious miscasting ( Colin Firth taking himself far too seriously, as ever, and Pierce Brosnan, who thinks he's a lot prettier than he actually is) this is quite an amusing hour and a half of toe-tapping blandness. The music and scenery are the real stars as far as far as I am concerned, despite the news (thankfully, received AFTER I had watched it) that the whole thing was filmed on a giant studio set and not on some idyllic Mediterranean isle.
This was my first Bluray and while the quality was impressive-ish it was certainly no better than Freesat HD through a Humax.
