Vanguard Endeavor ED 10 x 42 Hunting Birding Binoculars

Great for birding

These binoculars are great for serious birding. The way the focus works it can be set for the individual, locked in place and then adjusted for distance easily when you actually see the bird. The field of vision is great and the clarity is stunning. They are not especially light weight but manageable.

Turns my Phonak hearing aids into headphones for my LG TV

My Phonak hearing aids are equipped with Bluetooth, but my fairly new LG TV was not. I wanted a Bluetooth transmitter that would send the TV sound out to my hearing aids, but when I looked at the back of the TV, the jacks were all "line in" -- all but one. There was a optical line out, so I went looking for a Bluetooth transmitter that could use that optical line out to send an audio signal. It seems contradictory (optical signal for audio?) but that's just what I did with this adaptor. I started the medallion device that came with aids, then put the Bluetooth into the transmit mode and the two paired almost immediately. I got a great stereo signal, each side picked up by one hearing aid.

Sweet little sugar bowl - and unbreakable. I like being able to see through the lid.
