Works great. Easy set-up (no set-up required except battery install)
This worked great right out of box. No steps to sync to my unit were needed. I just popped in a couple AAA batteries, and it immediately turned on/off my 164BT Alpine car stereo, plus operated other controls as indicated. Using this to control source, volume, tuning, etc is a lot safer and easier (once control buttons memorized) than reaching over to the unit itself while driving.

I purchased a DVD previously, but was disappointed because it didn't seem as good as what I remembered, and also didn't make as much sense. I subsequently discovered my DVD had scenes cut out of it (the OTHER DVD, NOT this product). The version sold here (the deluxe version) is wonderful because it contains the important scenes that were cut out of the US version. The American censors clearly a skewed view on reality to cut the scenes they deemed unacceptable. Nothing objectionable actually happens in these scenes. We think something might, but it doesn't, and the characters do the "right thing". With these scenes restored, the movie flows better, makes more sense, and is not lacking some important backstory info on the main adult character, Leon. I definitely recommend this as the only version one should watch.

good product
my iPod classic fits into this case perfectly, and functions as well, with all openings for earphones, power and so forth accessible. It's a lower profile case than some I've seen, which is also a good thing. It also looks very nice and has a good "feel" to it. Although I don't expect to use the clip-on gadget, I tested it and it works fine. It is handy that you can take it on and off. For the low price, I was afraid the case wouldn't fit properly, or would have a cheap look or feel to it, but my concerns were unfounded.
