Solid unit, few quirks here and there. Works best without PC software.
These are solid refurb units originally manufactured over a decade ago and still hold up well today.
I was initially a bit skeptical but it turned out to be better than I expected. In my setup the UPS is running a bunch of networking gear (around 40W) and has no issues keeping this gear running for a sustained period of time.
It supports cold start, so you don't need mains power to power it up. However, the UPS needs a battery to be present for power up, even if you've plugged it into mains.
The UPS has a maximum runtime limit of 30 minutes, after which you will need to get up and cold start the unit again. This is fine, since it was designed originally to give users enough time to save work and shut down a computer. If the power is restored after these 30 minutes (where the UPS has already automatically shut off) it will not turn itself back on.
The UPS has a built in USB port for monitoring. I managed to grab a copy of the UPSilon software from a website, however when I went back to that website they had completely removed the page. You may be able to find the software in other places online though. Either way, the UPSilon software is old and seems to cause the UPS to behave erratically, constantly switching on and off its battery backup. I've personally bought a mini voltmeter display and hooked that up to the battery instead to get a general idea of the battery level.
The float voltage for this UPS measured around 13.68V, so it won't be swelling your batteries any time soon (Looking at you APC!)
I'm not sure if this is a true sine model (Manufacturer website claims it is) but it seems to sustain the loads plugged in just fine. I wouldn't recommend this unit for audio equipment or other sensitive gear however.
The UPS has a RJ45 jack - however this does not seem to pass through ethernet. I opened up the unit and there are a couple surge arresters (MOVs) there, maybe they're either already blown or the ethernet voltage is too high and getting blocked. Personally this is not a problem for me.
Overall this is a solid unit and would have no issues recommending this - I just wish it had better software support (aka not giving itself a seizure when it sees a computer) and wish it did not have the 30 minute runtime limit. I can imagine if this hard limit did not exist the UPS could potentially keep my networking gear running for just over a hour. By the way, the 30 minute limit cannot be disabled in software using UPSilon - I already tried that ;)

Bright light, cheap and robust, gets the job done.
For the price, it's a well-constructed robust bicycle light. The aluminium shell isn't the highest of quality, but it certainly does look high end considering what is usually available at this price point.
Been running mine at 4 watts (by undervolting it to around 8.1v) and it's still very bright, at 8 watts it's blindingly powerful. I haven't managed to run mine at 12 watts although that's more than likely a limitation of my setup.
The input voltage is between 12 to 80 volts according to the box - even though I haven't tested mine with higher than 13.4 volts. There is some on-board LED driver circuitry built-in, although looking up the chip number doesn't find anything.
There's no on-board switch, so you'll need to install one externally. If you want a more linearised and tidy front bar, I'd recommend installing a motorbike control panel.
Overall I'm impressed so far with this light, however I haven't had it for long enough to comment on longevity or how rainproof it is.
