Great piece of metal and plastic

Pretty much all it is, just a power connector covered in dresses up plastic, not much to say. It looks pretty good though, went with the rest of my EVGA build pretty well.

Great cheap board, with some mods.

Bought this board for my brother when his intel board died. It’s pretty much exactly as described, everything worked but had a few quirks when putting the computer back together. First, since this was made specifically for a prebuilt computer, the connectors are not the same as a regular OEM that fits a Dell or hp case. I ended up cutting up the front panel power button and led connector to make it fit. Front usb plugs right in, but he front audio connectors have to be repinned to fit the very strange PinOut. Once that is done however, I booted the system, got two beeps and no output. After some research the code I got was for a setup error, so I cleared the cmos and booted to an error screen. It was error 0680 I believe which was again, for setup error. So I went into bios and reset to factory defaults and it booted fine! Board has been working great so far. One weird thing is when booting it for the first time leave everything but the primary hard drive plugged in, then shut down and plug in any additional hard drives and cd drives. When I booted with everything plugged in the first time it tried booting to the cd drive even though boot to cd was down the list on boot priority. Other than those small issues, pretty darn good board for the price.

Good value

Came a little dusty, could have put a little more effort into cleaning it, but other than that it works well, having quad channel RAM and 2 PCI-E x16 slots is nice. Came with the drivers, and the SLI cables, did not come with I/O shield however.
