The first Blu-ray has an unskippable 5 minute ad. This is inexcusable. Otherwise it's an awesome release.

Good release
Has an alternative cover without age ratings, that's a plus. The discs look good and the Video quality, as well as the Audio quality of the English dub is satisfactory.

Nice follow up tho the dub is... Pathetic at points. The physical representation is both splendid and saddening.
Let me explain. I live in Germany and therefore speak German fluently. When I first saw that German character (I don't even know his name) I couldn't make out the accent though I had my suspicions. Then, he used some German words that I didn't understand at first. It's infuriating. The accent is over the top making it really hard to understand this dude and his pronunciation of German words for someone who is supposedly German is pathetic. So please: If you get someone to voice a character with another languages accent and use words from that language, hire someone who actually SPEAKS the language.
Now, I usually don't rate the show but the product, which for me isn't the show but it's representation but I just needed to get that off my chest.
I really love the cover art, the simplistic design fits both the cover and slipcover pretty well. The inside print doesn't 100% match the drawing style of the rest of the show, but you barely notice that. The disc design is nice, each disc contains a character from the Quinx squad and a good bit of information on the left. I don't know why, but the big numbers on the disc you can feel, literally. The problem I have here is that you can see the print of the number outline under the feelable part, making it look a bit bad when viewed under good light.
The case is a standard Elite with a 4 disc tray. I despise those and none of the disc holders survived the shipping to Germany. This is partly the sellers fault for their pathetic packaging but mainly Elites fault for their cheap quality trays. I had to buy a replacement tray so the discs wouldn't just fly loose in the case. To be fair though, this is not made for selling outside of North America but that's not really an excuse.
To sum it up, it's a nice release, I always love me some slipcovers and for the price of just 28€ + 9€ shipping I couldn't say no.
