  I have been collecting actual 8 reales coins and replicas for over 30 years. This particular replica's price was low enough to bid and not lose much money. Upon arrival, this "museum reproduction" was obviously too thin to be 26.4 grams. I opened the case and the coin was actually 19.4 grams and might not be fully silver. The seller's anger I received for notifying them of the situation was staggering. I suspect he is intentionally selling replicas that are not as described. Avoid this ebayer.
