good value for the money

Given the price it's an excellent eyepiece. I believe it's handles the chromatic aberration on my refractor better than my celestron 8mm

Good value for the price

Orion ultra block is a little better than this filter but this a great value at 50 dollars less then the Orion ultra block filter and is slightly more substantial than the svbony cls filter. It will light up planetary nebulas really well and an oxygen 3 filter will do better on planetary nebulas but an o3 filter but if you have an annoying light source near by an o3 filter is more affected by a stray light source than a uhc filter is affected. I had a 5 inch mak out the other night and it helped really light up m 17. It also did a good job on a planetary nebula in Corvus with an 8 inch dobsonian
