Initial impressions are good.
Having compared it with my Cateye Volt 1300, this has a wider beam, a whiter light, which I prefer, and many more light settings. It also comes with a remote control, which is very handy. The quality feels similar to the Cateye, which is heavier, and more expensive. I can't speak for runtimes. I have decided to sell the Cateye and use this instead.

Good
I have several of these batteries which I use with various Makita tools. No problems with any of them, and the run times seem to be pretty good. The only downside is that they seem pretty expensive, but perhaps no more so than similar capacity batteries from other tool brands.

Nice smooth taste and consistent with each batch. A bit expensive, but, in this case, you get what you pay for.
