BK Gemini II Subwoofer in White

Super little sub, great for music

I am very pleased with this subwoofer. It’s small size makes it easy to locate in the room and not be too obtrusive. For its size it puts out very strong and low bass, more than enough for most system requirements. I am using the low pass connection from my amplifier and find this effective. I really wanted this mainly to enhance music rather than movies and it is is great for this, adding realism and body to all instruments and vocals, making this much more like a live performance. It also assists TV viewing, making even low level listening better and easier to hear dialogue as well as background music. I know that the sun can have two connections so that it can have a setting for AV movies, but this is not required here, so I can’t comment on how well this works. I have the volume of the sub set very low, it doesn’t need much driving to get the desired blend with bookshelf speakers. Overall very happy with this British built subwoofer :)

Great little device, ideal as music server

I bought this NUC to run my Roon Core Server, to be the heart of my music system at home. It is running bespoke Roon ROCK operating system (Linux based) and is quietly running in the background. Highly recommended.
