Be careful of choking the trumpets!
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Unfortunately this product has just 'cost' me a £150 race I could not take part in. I replaced 2 perished ITG filters with what looked like an innovative solution for a twin choke 45 Weber set up. Qualifying went okay, if a bit down on power at peak, but the car then 'bogged down' on the start line for Race 1 and the engine would not rev over 4000rpm. Turns out the foam was being ingested by the trumpet and killing airflow. I removed the filter and it revved freely. You may get away with some sort of spacer to enhance airflow and keep the foam face away from the end of the trumpets, but I would not recommend this solution personally for racing. Build quality was fine, delivery was great .... but it still cost be a vital race at the end of my season. Frustrating. ;o(

Product worked well, but this is a fairly complex repair for a DIY novice. Be sure to have a YouTube help video to hand during the process.
