* Samsung BD-JM57C Blu-ray Player with Built-In Wi-Fi

So far so good!

I have only had this item for about a week but I have used it a lot. The player works flawlessly and the picture quality is better than excellent. I have no problem with the lack of an on/off light as the remote has a power on/off button for the player which works great; just turn it off when you are finished. I have also used several of the apps but since my Samsung smart TV has the same apps it is only another way to do what I already have. I bought this player for the DVD not for the wi-fi. Many people have written that the player will break down after a month or so. I hope not but I tend to think, based on my experience so far, that mine - at least - will be okay.

Does the job!

Well made and easy to use. It takes up minimal space and heats up quickly and stays hot! Well-worth the cost and excellent value for money.

Somewhat difficult to install

The splash guards are very good quality. Installation instructions were not included but available online. Installing the rear splash guards required disassembly of the existing wheel well liners and drilling and cutting portions of them to allow for the attachment of the splash guard. The wheel well liners are pre-marked by the factory showing where to cut and drill. The biggest problem, other than cutting which requires some finesse, is with the passenger side wheel well liner. It is marked in exactly the same spot as the driver's side wheel well liner for drilling. However, this is incorrect as the overall size of the liner is smaller than the driver side. More importantly, the passenger side splash guard attaches to the wheel well liner in a different spot than the driver's side. This only becomes apparent as you attempt to reattach everything as per the online instructions. In summation, the passenger side splash guard is mis-marked as to the correct spot to drill and the online instructions should be amended to include allowance for this. I would have given this product a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the mis-marking of the rear passenger side splash guard.
