Not easy to program as paper directions ...

Not easy to program as paper directions seem different than the directions inside the cover on the remote. So after 10 or 12 tries, it worked following the directions on the inside of the device. Works fine now. And glad to have it. I think the keypad on the old unit had sticky keys. I recommend this item. Just dont give up. If you think you have Genie Intellicode 2, try Intelli code 1 if 2 does not work. Also I had the bend the battery contacts very slightly to keep the batteries put.
