Compelling, enlightening, and profound

I am still reading it, but what I have read so far is in depth and covers an angle not ventured by any other source I've read yet. The compelling distinctions Eliade makes between archaic man and modern man bring light to just how far we have lost our way in what we call and "advanced" world.
