Garmin Air Vent Mount
The most solid and secure vent mount I have ever used. The knob on the mount to tighten clamp onto vent fins make this much more secure than others.

If your laptop is a few years old and temps are running a bit high it's time to tear it down to clean the cooling fins and replace thermal compound/pad anyway. May as well make the tear down more fruitful by upgrading the processor at the same time.
