Simple D/A video converter.
Converts video from one format to another. Does exactly what I needed it to do

A good price but ...
Sure, winders are old and a used one likely would need some refurbishment. Unfortunately this one lasted all of three tapes, and the insides completely melted down. I am trying to get it rebuilt.

Inexpensive Pascal processing option
This is a Dell SI GPU so there were some issues that had to be worked through, all that aside it is a fully functional blower style GTX 1080. I got it to add extra CUDA cores and some more clock speed to the box that I have for video rendering and processing. It is more of a hobby endeavour, but the added power of a 1080 saves time, and this card was less expensive than many of the board partner ones post EOL of the pascal line.
I run MPC-HC+MadVR utilizing the 1080 to process all the video so as to be able to output 4kHDR with no issues. Under that much load I notice the fan noise if I am right beside the case, but otherwise the card runs relatively quiet and cool.
