Practical, no nonsense book.
4 von 5 finden das hilfreich The authors of this book have a knack for teaching the practical side of child training. We used it years ago as a guideline to raise our 5 children who are now responsible, loving adults, some with children of their own who hope to raise their kids using the principles in this book.
Some claim this book trains parents to be abusive, however, we found if you apply it with love and joy for the purpose of what is best for the children, it is no such thing, but rather very loving.
We don't totally agree on everything, such as the author's comments about not having a television. (We view the TV as a tool that can be used for good or bad, but definitely limited its use and spent time outside having fun and doing other creative things.) As a friend of mine said, "You need to read a book like you eat a chicken leg--eat the meat and throw out the bones."
Definitely worth the read.

Great kitchen device!
This was a gift for my daughter for Christmas who raves about it! It's a great way to use fresh herbs and keep them--no more throwing out old wilted herbs!

All around great!
Great LP with classic and snappy tunes in a great voice. Great seller--received it before Christmas.
