Another great Zimmermann book
I discovered Zimmermann with her "Knitting Without Tears" years ago and have been a fan ever since. I can't say that I've read through the "Knitting Workshop" yet, but I've skimmed it and look forward to having it on my shelf as a reference and for "dreaming" through. I appreciate her terse "use your brain" type of knitting directions. I seldom follow a pattern and hate reading the line-by-line instructions so she's my kind of pattern writer.
The four stars is that the print looks like it was done on an old typewriter. Also, none of the pictures are in color. These things do detract given all the really nice looking books available. But once you start reading, they don't matter so much. And there are lots of pictures and, even better, hand drawn sketches of things that help clarify.
