One of Nikon's Finest

One of Nikon's Finest. The new AF-S 85mm f1.8 G is just as good but this lens is all metal construction. Maybe a bit slower to focus but more versatile as can be used on you modern mirrorless body with an adaptor. Generally it is a bit cheaper which is also a bonus.

Another Brilliant Lens for Fujinon

If you have a Fuji X mount camera buy one of these you won't regret it, and it is so cheap on eBay. Not much bigger than a body cap and sharp, sharp, sharp. The 27mm gives around a 42mm view and is great as a walk about lens. Especially in bad weather as you can slip camera and lens into a large coat pocket or small bag. Don't buy the 18mm it is not one of Fuji's better lenses and they know it.

Brilliant lens

Don't be put off by the plastic appearance. It is a lovely light walk about lens which you won't have to worry about and gives great pics. Nikon made millions of these as kit lenses and they certainly got it right. For the price you would be stupid not to have one if only as a backup.
