If I were to lose my Collins Butterfly Guide, I'd buy it again.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Easily recommended, the Collins Butterfly Guide is an exquisite book of art. It's also a richly detailed guide that doesn't skimp on descriptive text. As a field guide, at 670g measuring ca. 19.5 x 13.5 x 2.5 cms, it's barely jacket-pocketable - you'd probably want to carry it in a rucksack.
Butterflies in their larval stage are not shown. Be sure to read the introductory pages to understand terminology and abbreviations.

A quality product
I bought the Novo CBH-40 ball head as an ex-demo item and, so far, have been very happy with it. In the hand, it inspires confidence with its compactness, construction, and easy to use controls. The pano-plate on top is icing on the cake. Mounted on a travel tripod, it firmly holds my Canon 5d Mk4 and 17-40mm in place during panoramic shots. Looking through my camera's viewfinder, there's no significant shift to the image when the ball head's knobs are tightened. I would not mount anything heavier than a 70-200mm F2.8 and DSLR combo on this - a larger head would suit you better.
