Good basic foundation
Good basic introduction to pressure cookers, and using the various types. It has recipes.uses cups/f ounces/ml measurements which is useful and unusual and it also has conversion tables at the back of the book.

A brilliant writer of people and place
Compelling is not really the word I would use for an Anne Tyler novel except that it is difficult to put down, she writes about small things so well that you are drawn in to the lives of the characters however annoying, sympathetic or odd they may be.

great find
Bought with a little trepidation, it has turned out to be a real find. The bread cooks well, turns out beautifully easily and whether used open for a round loaf or making a smaller loaf in the closed 'pan' we end up with an even, controllable shape loaf that hasn't spread in the proving or baking.
