Amazing pocket scope
I like to have a battery scope available when playing with instrumentation and electronics (no mains loops). This has all the usual functions plus a signal source. 10 MHz is just enough to allow use on audio and a bit higher frequency.
It is a beautiful design, and appears to have everything necessary. A little bit of learning to do in order to operate it - but that is true of all such.
The Chinese designers deserve praise for such an excellent implementation. I will look forwards to whatever they produce next. A megazoom scope, or miniature logic analyser?

Quiet and effective
The only "problem" is that the hose retainer does not retain. This does not seriously influence operation. For the rest, it just cleans well and quietly ... a better design than what it replaced.
Question here about reliability - how could one know? In five years time one could have a meaningful shot at that. Not after a week.
Overall, my engineering assessment is "well done". I hope to be using it for many years to come. Its ergonomics have been well thought out.

Simple job.
Fitting is very easy - brush loose material from the chimney; cut a bypass pipe (I used a 1m length of overflow pipe with ends bevelled at 45 degrees); insert inflation tube and slightly inflate the balloon. Hold both pipe and balloon in place while inflating the balloon (block the pipe with your tongue). Job done!
With energy costs misbehaving, this is an extraordinarily cheap way of reducing heat loss up usually unused chimneys. I should have done it decades ago.
It will pay for itself very quickly. n.b. Get the right size!
