Great setting. Timely premise. Too long.
The Maine setting is very familiar to me and it pulled me into the book and into the conflicting idea of developing the nature sanctuary.
I felt that the story could have been shorter as the chapter details about Molly and Dick etc. took me off course.
I would have preferred reading about the initial premise, rather than going into the misogyny of that era. Another story about that could be plucked out of this book.
