Great book for our times.
Great book. It is a series of articles by Roberto De Mattei. The articles are based on history, not law. They are very applicable to the current situation. It is very helpful to see how in the past certain situations were handled by saintly men. As the saying is: "those who don't learn from history are bound to repeat it". This book is a great study of history!

Incredible value for the amount of wisdom contained in the pages.
St. Augustine covers so many different topics in this book it would be a small book just to go over them all. The first 300 pages is a little rough, but still worth reading. After that, it gets much more interesting and the flow is better. Augustine does a great job of explaining things is a variety of ways that make it easy to understand. He talks about God, creation of the world, time, the Trinity and much more. This is a big book with a lot of great information in it. This is one of my favorite books.
