Excellent resource for parents
7 von 7 finden das hilfreich I chose to purchase this book because I could see my very young child begin to exhibit bursts of anger. And though I knew that she probably learned them from...well, from me I wanted to end the cycle. I knew verses about anger and how it is a sin and the results of that sin but I did not know HOW to go about #1 dealing with it in myself and #2 helping my child to deal and control it at her young age. Well, this book is was the tool I had been seeking!! It goes into GREAT detail on how to deal BIBLICALLY with the sin of anger. How refreshing it was to find something that used the Bible as its source of information and not the psychology of the world. If you are looking for a Bible based tool to help deal with anger in your child's life or even in your own, this is the tool that you need.

Precious treasure
I also purchased this book as part of the ACE Kindergarten program and just LOVE it!!! These wonderful nursery rhymes are just another avenue that we as parents can use to integrate the Lord into the lives of our precious little children. Children love rhyme and learn quickly when using rhymes and these are focused on planting godly rhymes in the hearts and minds of our children. A precious treasure for sure!!

Good addition to phonics program.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I think that this little book would work nicely for someone who is not using a "boxed curriculum" phonics program as most sets come with their own poems. The poems are pretty good, some I find are just kind of "so,so" but the range of phonics sounds that it covers is pretty great! There are ideas in the front that tell you the different ways that you can use the poems. All in all I would say that if your program already has poems don't bother but if you do not have anything then purchase the book. It will definetly be a help to you.
