Polish heritage
This book is small a quick read. It is concise portrayal of the Poles who immigrated to Michigan in the late 1800's and the 1900's. It has some recipes that I wasn't aware of but I feel it would have been nice to have more recipes, and more information on the family's home life, value, their struggles, etc.
I purchased the book to learn more about my grandparent's homeland and my mom who grew up with three siblings in the early 1900's in a Polish home with parents who both immigrated from Galicia.

And Then He Called My Name by Richard Exley (1997)
This is an excellent book. I've given many as gifts. It is easy to read and understand and gives a new view on Jesus' death and the moments leading up to his death and how those involved may have experienced his death emotionally and spiritually. Excellent book for believers and non believers. Linda

wonderful craft for Primary kids
Wonderful craft for primary kids to complete. Once Awana starts this fall, it'll be one of our top crafts for our clubbers to do.
