Light option and good fit.

Very good bargain, fits nicely. Light weight. Had to trim the bash pan a little on right side (Heavy duty BMW aluminum one), but otherwise it fitted engine very well. I think I also adjusted the bends on one bracket that came with it, so the bolts weren't putting high stress on it. (Front left). I recommend this if you're looking for a little more protection and mounting points.

One day at a time..

For the price, it is a bargain, so I'm recommending it. The unit works, and has some nice features (color screen, aluminum extrusion, cooling fan). It could use some instructions in the package with it. The controls only activate from the solar panel: nice for saving a battery, but if it's cloudy (or overnight) it shuts itself off and doesn't turn itself back on when the sun comes out. Needs some kind of backup battery for the processor. The color screen is pretty, but a standard LCD would be better in sunlight.

Need some gunsmithing on stock bolts.

Nice to be able to swap springs and disassemble for deep cleaning. The new retainer/slider, however, has a radiused profile compared to the OEM flat piece. I had to file a chamfer on the bolt to keep it from sticking open. (MK II, Standard model).
