Ideas for decorating, not building
I bought this thinking it would provide building plans. It does not but that is my mistake. The book is a collection of decorating ideas but I didn't find them very dynamic or original. If you like these kinds of things, you'll find some interesting suggestions.

Amazingly clear and true
We just needed a pair of speakers for zoom on our laptop and so we went cheap. But we were awed by the fidelity of these speakers. We listened to Mozart's Requiem and got better results than on our living room JBLs. So just for curiosity sake, I put on some Springsteen - just as good. High recommendation!

Just the right balance
First, I have to express my complete bewilderment with the other review left here. The reviewer praises this edition and then gives it one star. Huh? He must be reading from right to left. OK, so now: I have been using this version of the Haggadah at my seder for two years and will use it again this year. It has the right balance of tradition and relevance. For those of us who are fluent both in Hebrew and in the rhythm of the seder, this allows your guests to stay with the reading while finding parts that are of themselves accessible. You can't go wrong with Mordeai Kaplan. Whichever haggadah you choose, buy enough for all attendees so everyone is literally on the same page. Considering the work and expense of making a seder, skip the Maxwell House version.
