Great storage item
I've purchased several of these Lighthouse First Day Cover Albums with slipcase in different colors and they are great for holding my PNCs, FDCs and coin items that are mounted to cards. I bought different colors so that I can keep similar items together, such as PNCs in one, FDCs in another. I know what I am grabbing by what color it is.
The colors on some of the auctions are a little off due to how a camera perceives them, but the blue is actually blue, the green actually green and the red actually red. They are not too light and look very distinguished, like how older books used to look.
The slipcover is nice because you can take the album out and items on that shelf don't fall over. If you hold the case as you pull the album out, you can even store items on top. I have tins of coins and a baseball with matching coin on top and the slipcover is very strong and supportive.
I have had these for a few years and they are still like new, no fading or other defects. Very nice product and worth the investment.

Doesn't meet ASTM F406-13 standard
Surprised this is still on eBay. I reported this to the CPSC years ago and it was placed on the recall list. The locking mechanism is not secure and the caps can pull off and those small pieces can be a choking hazard. When it breaks it splinters into sharp pieces. It did not last long. This does not meet the ASTM F406-13 safety standard.
