Second Time Around
FICTION BASED ON FACT: I read the entire series in the 1980's when the first book, Children of the Lion hit the book shelf. I remember being anxious for the next of the set to be published. So, having nothing of interest to read at this time in my life I decided to do the series over. I am doing this now and find that it is as joyous as it was 30 some years ago.
What inspired me about The Children of the Lion series is the cast of characters. Not only are they real persons from the past but the "fiction" surrounding them is done tastefully and entirely believable. The cast begins with "Cain." His name means (spear or smith). Cain was a metal worker and according to Peter DAnielson the "mark" that was put on Cain was the lions paw that male children were born with, Passed on from generation to generation (book to book are the lives of these metal workers and how they were nomads providing armies with metal arms.

It truly was in my opinion the best of the group Who.
Love: THe two theme songs to two of our favorite tv shows, CSI and CSI New York.
I bought it for two reasons, one that my husband is a collector of music and for myself because I went looking for the theme song for CSI New York and found it in EUC (excellent used condition)at a fair price with the bonus surprise as it also had the CSI theme song on it.
Lastly I liked the lightening speed delivery of the cd in a bubble pack!!
