Great old R & B
I am really enjoying this music. Old, classic R&B tunes, sung to perfection by a master. A great addition to my collection.

Not to be missed by anyone who eats food!
Decided to purchase when I missed it on PBS and couldn't find it being re-broadcast soon. Scathing expose of our U.S. food industry as it exists in this century. So sad for the small farmer, livestock animals and for anyone who purchases his or her food. Enough to turn you into a vegetarian, which I already am, and a locavore and if possible a grower of your own food. At least, makes one question what they are eating, where it came from and under what conditions. We can effect the changes that are so important if we "vote with our food dollars".

Thoroughly enjoyable.
I bought the book as I am a Pittsburgher as is the author. Fascinating account of a lively, bright girl growing up in a well-to -do home in Western Pa. Writing is just beautiful.
