Does the job fine
Follow the instructions and it does the job fine. You will need to apply pressure to the join for longer and will require holding in a vice.

Great value for a great product
Revamped old bass guitar I had as a teenage and has made all the difference. These are full length strings which were easily cut to size once the bass was strung. Nice sound and stay in tune once they are tuned a couple of times.

Good as New
This works as well as Duralit. Fits the same and has refurbished an old product making good as new. Unlike Duralit version does not come with modified knob.
