Wilkinson Broadcaster Bridge Pickup
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This pickup was purchased for a conversion of a budget Telecaster guitar to an Esquire model. The reason it was selected, was that it appeared to be constructed in a similar way to the original, but without the price ticket of a 'boutique' manufacturer. I have experience of guitar modification, and own several Telecasters with which to compare the results obtained by this conversion. The circuitry used for this mod' is similar to the 'Eldred' circuit, details of which are available via the internet. The result was far and away better than I actually had hoped for, very difficult to explain something as subjective as one's individual hearing, but suffice to say that the guitar was transformed, and will now hold it's own very comfortably with instruments costing several times more. I have other Wilkinson pickups in other guitars, but this one definitely has something special, and I will certainly be purchasing others to use in the future. I have in the past purchased 'name' pickups for my guitars, and achieved excellent results, this one does it at about a third of the cost. Well done Wilkinson.

Liberon Wood Dye
I needed to replicate the colour of a 'vintage tinted' guitar neck that I had just repaired, the original colour of which was somewhere between yellow and orange. I purchased three concentrated wood dyes, never having used them before, these being red, yellow, and brown. By experimentation of mixing in differing ratios, and keeping the water content at the suggested amount, I was able to achieve a result that I was very pleased with, as was the owner of the guitar! I chose to finish with a wax polish, so have no comment to make regarding how a laquer finish would look.

Lightweight and accurate
The size is perfect for keeping in your pocket or on your belt, it's so comfortable you don't notice you have it on, it's also very easy to use and accurate, it will automatically reset at midnight so you are ready to go next day. I love it and would recommend, there's nothing bad about this that I can see.
