Great lights - would like better mounting system, and on off switch
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I ordered a second one of these, through a ebay friend that ordered a dozen different bicycle parts. These lights are far better than many $100 lights.
1. I use 2 of these 5 cree bulbs lights mounted under a 22.2 mm forward mounting bar that also holds my Sony Cam.
2. 1 or the 2 lights has a switch that is quite difficult to activate, the light or its various settings.
3. The intensity of these two lights on medium beam is quite good and @ about 25 miles an hour I am not out riding the visible light illuminating of the pavement. When there was an obstacle, pot hole, or debris in the light is easily avoided. @ 25 mph, on smooth rolling pavement, poor pavement you must ride slower to avoid pot holes. I am a pavement guy, not and downhill MTBer, can not provide that ride style feedback.
4. The rubber band mounting leaves a lot to be desired, the plastic fixture has a single screw that needs a lock tight to keep it from working lose every 3 months. Good luck finding replacement rubber bands, if your light seller will not sell you some extras.
5. I have not tried to take the units apart, I keep charging and using them 5 night a week.
6. $100 almost gets you four of these, and they are less trouble than the expensive brands, with non replaceable batteries. These have a round electrical generic connectors, so there are many options for replacement battery packs.
7. It would be nice if there were multiple luggage options to hold 2 battery packs
There are problems for all bicycle lighting solutions and these lights are some of the best lights you can purchase with replaceable battery packs.
