NIce purchase with a few hiccups
This new Megatron has a nice heft to it and is articulated according to modern standards of Transformers toys -- meaning you can expect to do a lot of action poses with it. The hip joints in the robot mode of my copy are a little loose but they are not floppy if when I did the shake test. Great appearance and articulation for the T-Rex mode at the MSRP (or close to it) I paid for, but don't expect it to tab seamlessly.
The bulk of my problems are with the packaging. For starters, the tech specs were cut off from the box of my copy when I received it. For some reason the collectible card it comes with is Dinobot (I have no idea if that is intentional). The figure comes package in robot mode with the new Hasbro style packaging and they chose to hook the back kibble through the hole of the cardboard which potential buyers should watch out if you don't want to have catastrophic structural failure when you pull it free from its constraints.
