A valuable, although opinionated survey of the subject.
As a long-time fan of HPL, and familiar with the important work
of Mr. Joshi's recovering the texts, I looked forward to his survey
of the , as it turns out, history of the subject, I found if of great
interest. I found a few factual errors, but I enjoyed his forthright
criticism of the long procession of authors.

Historical Lovecraft
An interesting item from a press I hadn't encountered before. There were mostly stories
that I hadn't encountered and authors I will look up.

Inspector Legrasse
I have read one of the stories before, I think. It is fun, although a bit
formulaic. A Fu Manchu-like ambience.
