No alternatives if you already have Davis instruments.
This is a replacement for a 10 year old console. Does what it is supposed to do, that is receive data from rooftop weather instruments and get them to my computer app.

Easy setup. Cord length is best suited to a laptop. You will need a USB extension for a desktop.
Needed something that would work for basic video conferencing. This webcam setup quickly and we were able to begin using it within a couple of minutes. Video quality is as good as it needs to be for our purposes.
