OEM Makes Sense.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich After a lot of use the lower oven on our double convection oven range wasn't working as it should. The igniter was still functioning but the resistance had grown too high so that the safety valve no longer opened fully. The valve opens as a function of the igniters current draw; not enough draw and the valve stays closed. Without the valve fully open the gas flow is too little for the oven to come up to temperature. Since the stove is used semi-commercially and the original igniter gave great service over the years it was decided to go with another OEM igniter. After installing the new part the oven now gets up to temperature just like it did when it was new! We expect to get another 5 years of solid use from this one too.
