Don't underestimate because of the price
similar items were priced 2-5 times the cost. The more than reasonable price looked suspect. Upon arrival the mirrors were of comparable quality to the damaged ,OEM, ones they were replacing. They fit as they should . A grewat deal all and all.

OHIO TIKI? Whodathunk?
Being from Ohio I just accepted that it had always been the "less than exciting" place I grew up in. Turns out it was once a hot bed of the first wave of Americas obsession with Polynesian culture or more specifically Americas version of Polynesian culture-TIKI. You might know of The Kahiki Supper club in Columbus which managed to keep Ohio Tiki alive and kicking until 2001. It turns out most cities in Ohio had, for some period, a thriving TIKI culture and designated watering hole. Celebrities' of the time, think: Sinatra, the Rat Pack, ect, actually visited TKI bars in Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, on purpose. It seems Ohio was cooler than most people think. Another surprise is that TIKI is not dead in Ohio ya just have to look for it.

Sven is the undisputed king of Modern TIKI culture
Tiki Pop builds on the foundation Sven built with The Book of TIKI and Tiki Modern. THe Book of Tiki covered Tiki culture and history, Tiki Modern went into how Tiki culture influenced art, architecture during it's hay day. Now Tiki Pop looks into the American fascination with far away tropical cultures. Even if loud tropical print shirts aren't your fashion choice the fact you know of the Tiki culture, most likely by it's cocktails, shows the influence it has had on the American psyche. Svens books are a great way to learn that "TIKI" isn't just high powered cocktail, loud shirts and hula dancers. There is a whole culture that goes a bit deeper than most would think.
