Didn't fit HP Compaq
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Although it says it will fit and it has a number of various pins, neither did fit my HP Compaq Presario, nor the Acer laptop. Disappointed with the purchase. Couldn't even check if it works or not.

Keeps draining..
It does charge the battery. Not a fast charger. It takes a couple of hours or more to fully charge a battery, which is not fast, but safe for the battery. But what I don't like at all is unlike some advanced charger, this charger starts draining the battery as soon as you unplug from the wall outlet. So you cannot leave the battery in it which is not very convenient. It have been designed in such a way that the charge status indicator LED draws it's necessary power directly from the battery, whether the charger is plugged in to the wall outlet or not regardless, as a result a fully charged battery keeps draining through the LED which could have been designed easily to draw it's necessary power from the main power source, taking only a few micro-amperes sample off the battery for measurement purpose that are seen in better chargers in the market and not very expensive to design. I don't know why they didn't do that. True that it is not an expensive charger but it wouldn't cost them anything extra to design it to not draining the battery down. I can't give it more than 1 star.

Consider heavier fuse.
The stock fuse it comes installed with is too smaller capacity for a 500 watts transformer. I did not bother to check the amperage ratings of the fuses but every time I put on a 40 watts pure resistive load, it blew out. If it really can handle 500 watts on a 110 volts input I would use a 4 amps thermal fuse. But other than that it looks okay. I still gave it a five star because of the built and size that looks like it should be able to handle at least 300 watts without getting too hot. I did not try to put on a 500 watts load because nobody is going to use it for that kind of load. Since my purpose was to use it on step up mode for a 40 watts 220 volts flat iron, I replaced the stock fuse with an aftermarket 1 amp slow blow that solved my problem, but not all the customers are going to take that pain. So I recommend the manufacturer to equip it with a heavier gauge fuse or to throw in a few of different values ranging from 2 amps for using with 220 v input to 4 amps for using with 110 v input.
