Large reducer/regulator compared to small
I know these a are expensive compared to the little £15 jobbies but there is little flow through the small ones. . .It is this size that is often supplied with unvented cylinders although with a balance port. . . I replaced a small £15 type with this and now I can open more than one tap with little noticeable difference in flow. . .Unless for reducing one outlet/tap I will be using the similar/same larger versions from now on

Too small glow plugs
I decided on a whim to buy one of these. . . .It performed perfectly but is not the fast easy answer perhaps portrayed
I have removed some 6 sets of 8mm long reach glow plugs with it but one probably still has to be careful. . .Previously I had manually worked the plugs back and forth 100s of times to releave them. . .Most if not all were bound on the upper part of the threads making them pretty stubborn. . . I dont know whether the inner parts were stuck or not but they near always look pretty clean but the upper part of the threads are often the typical steel on alloy corrosion and filled up with white powder. . .What this does for me is to allow me to set the torque to number two or three and simply hold the trigger to the plug moves a little and with the other hand change direction immediately. . .Mind the first movement may be less than one degree. . .Once I have worked the plug back and forth to I'm getting about one full turn I spray lube at the top of the threads and do so about every full turn untill the plug comes out. . .It may take about 20 minutes to a half hours to work very stubborn ones out but to me the advantage is the less work to my wrists and because my hands and wrists are not getting tired I have much more patients to simply keep tripping the forward reverse trigger as the plugs stops rotating. . .My hands still get sore and cramped but no where near as bad when doing the job manually. . . .Once out I chase the threads with n appropriate tap and carefully sock out any dust from the hole with a piece of 3/16 brake pipe connected to a vacuum. . So far I've had success but I had success without the air tool. . .What I have though is a big helping hand in a small box. . .Would I buy another??. . Yes I would. . .But it still needs experience on it's side. . .It does not perform miracles. . .As to whether it helps free the deep part of the plug I know not. . .. .I have been wrestling with corroded fixings all my life and one does not want to wring one of these so I have always been very careful
Hope this helps someone
